QUOTE," 한국으로 약 9만불 송금을 할려고하는데, IRS가 뭐에 신고해야합니까?뭐 불이익이나 나중에 자금 추적됩니까?"---Yo bud, No. There is nothing that u need to do, but just send the money to Korea via wire transfer; however, ur bank will report the amount, $90,000 to the IRS.That doesn't mean to pay any form of taxes on the money sent to Korea from the US ( from ur bank account). But, Federal law requires that all banks report any cash deposits or transfer made in excess of $10,000 in the hopes of discouraging money laundering, rather than tax evasion. "wires" from(to) Korea( abroad) require the same information.
"넌 노인이고, 정부에서 웰페어 받는데요."--- So, r u sendin' $90,000 to Korea as a Welfare recipient???? Basically, Welfare is government aid intended to help those with little to no income, including the working poor. I am not sure if U may not b eligible( may lose) for ur Welfare benefits due to ur source of money; so u need to contact Soc sec service dept.to see if u will still b eligible for Welfare benefits.
Good luck~~~
