I am seeking advice from someone who knows well about computers on the current market. I have a 2-year old laptop (HP) but not too reliable, so I want to buy a new desktop for myself at home. Please give some advice.
Currently I am using Dell, about 4 years old, but giving me so much grief and so slow. Furthermore, Korean/English keyboard switch doesn't work ( or unstable).
I do not want to spend too much money, since pc market is fast moving. I am using computer for saving a lot of files, research, and watching news/lecture on tv and music.
budget is around 500 ( if really necessary a little more ). I do not want to spend that much money to buy Appple computer.

Sorry that I wrote in English. As I said above, my keyboard switch doesn't work well.
Please feel free to write it in Koean as I am able to read Korean text on my computer.
