If you do not pay them you will still owe them. So you must pay everything up and until you're date of property surrender.
NOTE:Is it just going to be a foreclosure or will you end up filing for bankruptcy in the end? If so, consult an attorney. The laws on this vary from state to state. You are responsible for the property taxes up to the very end of any redemption, as said aBOVE, periods that your state allows.
