My name is Gyuhee Kim and I am a dedicated, hard-working and qualified teacher with 10+ years working in education with diverse groups of students and families. I have worked with students of all ages and have spent the last eight years teaching sixth grade at a public school in San Jose using Common Core Standards. I am able to motivate and engage students for enthusiastic learning, assess students both formally and informally, determine gaps in their understanding, help build a strong conceptual foundation and connect learning to real-world situations. I am also able to personalize the student experience and cater to individual needs and interests.
