Compensation :$45 to $50 per (50minute teaching) hour plus increases as below ,and on site only and not online teaching.
The hiring process and details are as follows :
We are an established test prep company,now opening a test prep teaching school in San Francisco.
We have been teaching test prep for US college admissions since 2003. Please, look us up and see who we are
(search Steven Academy). We specialize in teaching SAT1,ACT,SAT2,APs,IBs, and high school subjects tutoring
We offer such classes for you to teach on-site at our San Francisco address (3330 Geary Blvd. FL 3RDW,
San Francisco, CA 94118)
We are looking for 1) a chemistry/biology teacher ( AP Chemistry, AP Biology),2) an SAT 1/ ACT reading-comprehension-section, teacher and general expository writing 3) a math/physics teacher( AP Economics,
AP US History, AP World History, AP European History, AP Government and Politics :US, AP Government and Politics:; Comparative, or any combination of previous) and this person may also be the 2) SAT1/ACT teacher)
Document review : Send resume (cover letter optional, really!) to stevenacademy@gmail.com
and after resume review, we can set up time for an interview and mock class, as below.
Interview and mock class : I do require a mock class in front of just me in a subject of your choosing. The mock class need be about 10-15 minutes in each of the subjects ( just two would be fine, so SAT1 Critical Reading,the first passage in the link below on Ethan Frome, and an AP subject Free Response _Question of your choice, OR
two AP subjects in an FRQ each)
