Supposing that you use "Word" program, pressing Control + Tab keys will insert a tab where you pressed the two keys.

At the top of your document page, there is numbers across showing inches.  There you'll see the tab marker.  Just go to the pharagraph to remove tab & grab the marker to move it to the right or left to remove.  Hope this helps..
